Hello to all members of the Biketti community!
We went on an inspiring research trip in Sweden, where we got to know the cycling infrastructure and market of our western neighbor.
Our visit to Karlstad took us to the heart of our main partner Stora Enso's factory, where we got to see their production process up close. During our visit, it was impressive to see how Stora Enso's dedication and top quality are also strongly transmitted to the quality of our Biket products.
In Uppsala, our visit focused on their impressive bicycle parking facility, which offers space for 1,200 bicycles! The city's cycling infrastructure is excellently planned, and a significant investment has been made especially in access parking. This shows how innovative solutions can promote smooth cycling in an urban environment.
In Örebro, we noticed that the construction of a cycling infrastructure was only in its early stages, but based on what we saw, we were excited about the possibilities that starting from a clean slate can bring in cooperation between the city and cyclists.
In Stockholm, we went to the embassy to meet Business Finland's Anna Öberg, as well as representatives of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce. We received a comprehensive overview of the Swedish market situation, which only strengthened our understanding that now is the right time to act. It was a pleasure to notice that our ideas aroused great interest and we received immediate support for our company's operations in Sweden as well.
